Just Got Paid...

Just Got Paid...it's Friday niiiggghhhttt...NOT! It's a gorgeous Friday night in the desert and I just finished cooking a bomb dinner. I dont know where the inspiration came from. Oh wait, could it be that I FINALLY got called for 3 interviews next week!! YES! I was beginning to lose all hope and finally a glimpse of life. After cooking this dinner, I come to the computer in hopes to have a "chat" with my peeps, only to find out that absolutely NO ONE is on the computer. This just solidifies the "no life" mode that I am in. While I would love to bask in the glow of a dimly lit lounge listening to a little spoken word while sipping on a Pomegranite martini - I realize that not only am I stuck at home entertaining my daughters, I am broker than broke, and the desert is just not that place. LOL! I have never wanted out more than now, so I am taking this bit of joy and creating hope for the future. My future entails me participating in the Sac State RN program next summer or applying to UCSF MEPN program - but at this point, somethings gotta give. I cant take being broke at 30 NO MO' (yeh Im talkin ebonics now).

So although I'm not singing this tune now I will be soon one day.
