Water Runs Dry

I think it is safe to say that I am one of the millions of people that live life as if water is a guarantee. We humans tend to think that these natural resources will remain plentiful without looking at our part in the matter. Apparently my daughter has been learning about natural resources in class because she quickly reminds me that I am waisting them while brushing my teeth in the morning as the water runs. A 7 year old! But that is phenomenal because I think children are Yahweh's conscience for us on many things we take for granted. Her mental lashing, if you will, got me to thinking...what small gestures can I make? The news continues to bring stories about how many cities will be without water within 5 years and that is very scary to me. Water is what keeps us alive...we need to hydrate our bodies of course, keep our tails clean...but we also need it to maintain a balanced eco-system. Sorry that I cant promise to reduce my daily shower intakes, BUT I can do my best to conserve water. I hope that everyone else will take just a few minutes a day to evaluate your contribution to this possible catastrophe.
