Dark Clouds Among Us

Today is a very gloomy day in the desert, but it feels SO wonderful! It is actually warm although sprinkles are in the air. My body is extremely exhausted, yet I feel elated for the new week. Usually dark clouds symbolize bad things to come, a negative aura if you will. Today, that aint the case. I just praise Yahweh that I am where I am in life. I am not completely satisfied in it all, but I am THANKFUL because I could be in such a darker place.

Last night I sat and watched my baby read an entire 30 page book to me with such excitement in her eyes. Every day she astounds me because she has such zeal for life and learning - I take away many lessons from her. I want all my children to feel free to express any and all emotions with me, 100% honesty at all times, not just a dictatorship. As parents, its very easy to slip into that roll where we find ourselves snapping or yelling at the children for our convenience. Children will be children...playing, laughter, and learning. I love WATCHING that more than any television show or phone call. Thank you Yahweh for those moments. On with the new day and week - lets pray that it continues to be joyful.
