Blessed Today

As an old chapter closes, many new ones open today. My friend is moving on to better things in her career, but it saddens me because I will be left to suffer alone. BUT the blessing is that mine is only temporary, as I too move on to better things. I have never been able to really call my jobs careers, but I am praying that that is soon to come. As I work on volunteering on a committee to plan an international conference I get more and more excited about everything that I am doing. I can't wait to be amongst some of the most talented, warm, and real African American women in this world. I have so much to learn from them. It has me trying new things and putting myself in uncomfortable situations: it will all strengthen me though.

I am blessed today because my unborn child is dancing freely in my womb, my daughter loves me unconditionally and lets me know it every moment, my husband kissed me on the forehead today (one of the best terms of endearment to me), and I...JUST GOT PAID, ITS FRIDAY NIIGHTTT...(yall know the rest of the song) LOL LOL LOL. Enjoy your weekend and stay positive!
