Motherly Advice

Every mother has a unique approach to raising her children. And with motherhood comes new challenges every single day. There is no book for it - its simply intuition. I'd like to think that I have done the best that I can with my daughter. She has blossomed into such a sweet and caring individual.

Despite her huge enthusiasm in having a sibling - I can see the distress and anxiety she has. Her days, like everyone else, flucuates. Last night my husband and I discussed her growth and emotions...where she fits in this picture. Of course, any child that has had all the attention for five years is going to wonder, where does this new life put me. I am having major difficulty finding the proper balance between understanding and discipline. In my pregnant state, sometimes my patience is thin. So, when I ask her to do something once that's what I expect...but that usually isn't the result. Father help me and give me strength yall! I am on my knees begging for direction at this point to keep me from ringin the child's neck ; ) LOL (not literally of course cause I love my baby girl) For all the "been there, done that" mothers out there...what in the world is a sista to do?
