So I FINALLY got an answer on whether or not I could get a breastpump through my state insurance plan. I posted more than a month in a half ago and literally just finished last Tuesday! It was not easy, I wanted to give up many times, but I GOT APPROVED for a double electric pump! I had to play phone tag and sift through "they need to..." It is possible ladies but you have to PROOVE that breastmilk is the best for your baby and pumping is not a choice. I say we start a revolution...ask YOUR insurance to do the same for you so that we can change the face of insurance policy and support.
