Life is Long

Most people use the phrase "life is too short" when talking about making change in your life for the better. Making decisions in our lives is not always so black and white though. A friend of mine instead says "life is too long". I like that! It took me a minute to fully understand what that meant - to me that means that life is what you make it in the time that you are allotted here on earth. Never think that your age limits you on when, where, or how you decide to live. You can make peace in your life at any cost and it will make you a better person. When you are in the moment of it all it usually seems unbearable, but as you wiggle through the dirt you will always find the root of a new seedling. Make today the day that you plant your root and make it flourish into a beautiful plant...green, bright, and healthy.

To me it means that I hate my life and want to die, and I wonder why I'm not dead yet.
