Trooper

This is a tribute to my oldest baby who has overcome so many obstacles already in her 7 years of life. On the outside she appears meak and scared at times, but on the inside she is a lionness she just doesn't know it yet. This past week she had a tonsillectomy. Now I am very anti-medicalization at times and all about the natural treatment. But after much diliberation and consulting a ND, I decided to do what's best for her and not me. She had problems sleeping comfortably - her snoring increased and her bodily odor as well. The doctor confirmed that this is normal with this problem. Her tonsils were so huge that it almost closed up her entire breathing pathway! Now she is recovering amazingly and ready to jump back in the saddle.

My child is completely accident prone - gets it from her father yall. But with that said, she has endured more than most adults can withstand. I thank Yahweh for her strength and courage. After all her name means "Yahweh lifts up for prayer or worship" and I know that he is protecting her all the time. She is so caring and generous - I am the first to admit that I need to uplift her more with these exact words. She is a trooper for real!
