I Am Mommie

Mommie!! Is what I am called every waking moment of the day, LITERALLY. From my 6 year old NON-STOP conversation, to the 7 month old who is yet to speak ACTUAL words, to the husband that needs to me to do things at the LAST MINUTE! But I have come to the realization that as stressful and tired as this makes me, I absolutely love every minute of it. I thrive off of people needing ME to do something. It means that I do it just right. While I am sure that sounds quite insane, its true. I love my babies maybe more than life itself. It is what helps me wake up at night.

How in the world do you make time for self without feeling quilty? I have friends that find no problem in this area, but it makes me sick to my stomach to go out seeing the world without offering my girls a piece of that pie. Actually, I love having them as company. I am definitely mommie FIRST, but conversation and laughs with them are priceless. Fun is for now, but my babies are forever. So, yes I AM MOMMIE...and I hope to go down as the best darn one they know.
