Day 3

How am I feeling this morning? I slept long and hard last night - the whole night actually. I woke up with mixed emotions. Was my mind playing tricks on me or was I losing my confidence? I guess the guilt of a discomfortless labor, THUS FAR, had me thinking something is wrong with my body. I think the mainstream societes influence on the picture of labor has such a strong impact on how we test our natural bodily endorphins. After 3 days of nothing very exciting, I am more than ready to see this child of mine. I can't believe it...another Thompson product that loves to set her own standards and maker her own waves!

Its time yall...she needs to come...because although I dont feel anything, my body is still working and making me tired. Oh, in case I forgot to mention the rundown of the start:

Friday
Woke up at 6am, went to moms and the landscaping yard. Had to rush to Circle K for a potty break only to find the beginnings of my mucuous plug coming out around 8:30am.

8:00pm my water bag broke just as I was about to head home. In the families panic, I was rushed home by moms.

Saturday
Nothing much changed except that I was contracting and thinned out a whole lot more. I have an audience that wants this baby to come out TODAY. But as the night goes on, the princess lets us know she aint ready.

8pm I agree to a dose of herbal remedy to start some action. Black cohosh and cotton root tincture, followed by some yummy Macaroni Grill for dinner. That sent me into true sleep mode!

Sunday
6am wake up, but still sleepy. No apparent changes! So...my midwife instructs me to get to working or its the castor oil milkshake for this chick. Its now 10:30am and I am headed that way - to the mall we go!!! Touch basis with you later...maybe...
