News Flash!!!

I AM INNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!! ALL PRAISE IS TO YAHWEH!!!! Yahweh finally blessed me with some much needed great news...today I received my acceptance letter into the RN program! AND I got into my first choice - Rio Salado Online accelerated program which takes 16 months. (Exhaling!!!)

Don't get me wrong, I am completely freaking out right now because everything will be new...brand new baby, 1st grade for Yahsi, unemployed (I pray), etc. You get the jist. But I am so ready. I have been waiting for this moment - to finally start working towards my calling. Things seem to be coming full circle...last year I was blessed to catch my first baby, I am ICTC's State Representative, helping organize "The Black Midwives & Healers"conference to be held in Phoenix this October, renewing my doula training, possibly starting my own doula business, and now beginning my nursing career! You know how something is so close you can almost taste it? That's what I am feelin right in this moment. I thank my mother for creating such a driven soul within me, thankful that I always complete my aspirations, thankful that I have a calling and passion for improving womens health.
