What's Really Important?

Sometimes I have people questioning my morals and values. My thoughts about the simple things in life: the kind of music I expose my child to, how we dress as women, how I raise my child, etc. But deep down inside I am confident in these things. I learn something new every day as Yahweh allows me to see my flaws. But the true test comes when you actually have to change those parts of you for the better.

What's Really Important...is that we as Americans are so blinded by the materialistic bling bling of entertainment and trying to stay afloat with the Jones's. When there are millions of people are content with living the simple life. We see them as poor underprivaleged souls, but the reality is that our selfish ways think we have to save and conquer their reality. Yes some are much less blessed than us, but that depends on the context in which you speak. Life is about love, joy, peace, and the simple pleasures. All the material things we brag about could be gone in the blink of an eye.

This is so true. Material wealth means nothing in the long run. We can spend our whole lives focusing on it and truly missing the small priceless blessing around us everyday. its a struggle with all the gitter and gold of the world. But a beautiful struggle indeed.
