I think people sometimes forget how strong and meaningful a simple "thank you" can be. It has such a profound effect, you'd be amazed. I was always taught to say "thank you", "please", and "may I". I make sure to teach my children these small phrases because it demonstrates the gratefulness for the things that people do out of the kindness of their hearts. My goal is to be mindful of reciprocating the love that people spew out to me. There are a great deal of people that will bend over backward for me or even give their last dime to me. I want to have the same ethic when I have it. So please, let people in your life know how much you appreciate them by saying "thank you".
