Soul Searching

Yesterday I was reconnected with someone that I have not talked to in five years. This is such a phenomenal woman!! She is the epitome of who I want to become. Im close, but not there just yet. Unfortunately these days it is hard to come across women like this in our community. Well of course the women in my family always inspire me, but sometimes we allow ourselves to get hung up negative character.

Right now I am on such a natural high because I can see my bright future ahead of me...I can almost taste it. I mean, currently I am stuck in a rut (actually more than one); but, I have a plan that I pray for daily. Finding this woman again gives me an inspiration that I cannot explain. Of course I have career goals in mind, but this feeling I have exceeds them all. I want to possess an honest, loving, charismatic, deep, and knowledgeable character - redefining or establishing the "mother earth" presence within me.

Being in the desert, I have allowed ruff times, things, and people to strip away pieces of me. So, its about taking the minutes and seconds that come to me in a day to devote to healing my soul. I have to do this to become a better woman and mother.
