Inner Spirit

Last night I watched America's Next Top Model and I have to say I was so impressed with Nnenna! Why am I writing a blog about a reality show, you may ask? Well, she just has such an awesome inner beauty. She is so selfless, yet so very confident. I am definitely rooting for her!

Once again I think it comes from living a life of struggle : a life of seperation, war, and genocide. Despite all the other womens immature bickering and selfishness, Nnenna used her success in hopes to bridge a gap between the women.

I long for the day when I can travel abroad to see what the world has to offer. Learn how to live life simpler, but being totally content and at peace with that life. I am definitely not into material things, but as a woman living in America I am used to certain "riches" if you will. I want to expose my children to others experiences, so that they can become selfless individuals who find the real importance in life.

Competition can be detrimental to ones spirit, but Nnenna is a wonderful example that inner spirit shines much brighter than ones speech.
