Patience is a Virtue?

Scripture says "patience is a virtue" and I do not doubt that at all. Who am I to question the Creator? However, when at work I wonder how much of this motto can be applied. A friend sent me a great article that I am sure she is using too. The article focuses on Job Burnout: Signs and symptoms - what to do.

"Job burnout is a response to work stress that leaves you feeling powerless, hopeless, fatigued, drained, and frustrated," Dr. Audrey L. Canaff

I couldn't have summed this up any better. This is me yall! And the 5 warning signs are even more on point:

1. Your co-workers are walking on eggshells around you
2. You come in late and want to leave earlier
3. Apathy has replaced enthusiasm
4. You've lost camaraderie with co-workers
5. You're feeling physically sick

This aint no fluff or attempt to devert from the real truth. Job burnout causes stress and physical disease. I am done yall. Time to re-evaluate, re-direct, withdraw myself from the depthless pit of disfunction that I currently work at. There is something better out there for me - I am just trying to wait on Yahweh to put it before me. I have prayed, asked, and continue to do my part in this effort. Because after all He does say "ask and you shall recieve," but it also says, "I help those who help themselves."
